On 22 June 2021 after the SSEAYP conference, a separate SSEAYP Alumni Meeting for SSEAYP Alumni Associations took place. The details of the meeting is as follows.
First, due to the current COVID-19 situation, face-to-face SIGA hosted by Thailand shall be postponed to 2023. However, IYEO, Japan proposes an online SIGA in 2022, of which the detailed program proposal will be discussed at a later time.
Second, SSEAYP International (SI) Awards shall be given out to nominees regardless of the event format, but the award ceremony will take place at the face-to-face SIGA.
Third, in order to create new channels of communication to alumni, the the SSEAYP alumni associations have created the SSEAYP Linkedin group to connect the alumni network in a more professional capacity (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13950363/), and are working on a creative collaboration to develop a SSEAYP newsletters.
Please rest assured that ASSEAY is working tirelessly, in tandem with all the alumni associations, to ensure that our beloved SSEAYP community stays connected come rain or shine.
ในวันที่ 22 มิถุนายน 2564 หลังจากการประชุมโครงการเรือฯ ตัวแทนสมาคมศิษย์เก่าโครงการเรือทุกประเทศได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมสมาคมเรือประจำปี ซึ่งมีเนื้อหาดังนี้
เนื่องด้วยสถานการณ์โควิด19 การจัดการประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปีของกลุ่มประเทศอาเซียนและญี่ปุ่น (SIGA) โดยมีประเทศไทยเป็นเจ้าภาพในการจัดการประชุมจะถูกเลื่อนไปจัดในปีพ.ศ. 2566
IYEO, ตัวแทนสมาคมเรือประเทศญี่ปุ่นเสนอให้มีการจัดการประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปีของกลุ่มประเทศอาเซียนและญี่ปุ่น (SIGA) ในรูปแบบออนไลน์ในปีพ.ศ. 2565 โดยจะมีการนำเสนอตกลงเพิ่มเติมในภายหลัง
สำหรับรางวัลสมาคมเรือระหว่างประเทศ (SI Awards) จะมอบให้กับผู้ที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อในแต่ละปี แต่พิธีมอบรางวัลจะจัดขึ้นแบบรวบยอดในการประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปี (Face to face) ในปี 2566
นอกจากนั้น ในด้านการสื่อสาร สมาคมเรือกลุ่มประเทศอาเซียนและญี่ปุ่นได้สร้าง Linkedin group ของโครงการเรือเยาวชนเอเชียอาคเนย์เพื่อสร้างและต่อยอดเครือข่ายมืออาชีพของสมาคมเรือ (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13950363/) และกำลังดำเนินการร่วมมือออกแบบหนังสือข่าวโครงการเรืออีกด้วย
ทางสมาคมจะยืนหยัดในการทำงานร่วมกับสมาคมเรือของทุกประเทศ เพื่อให้ประชาคม SSEAYP เป็นปึกแผ่นแน่นหนา ในทุกช่วงเวลา
